Applications are open for companies, law firms and other entities interested in sponsoring the 2nd CSD-ABPI Moot, an intellectual property arbitration competition promoted by the ABPI (Brazilian Intellectual Property Association) Dispute Resolution Center. To do so, just access the event’s website and choose the support category, with ample rewards for branding and institutional sponsorship. The deadline for registration of those interested in sponsoring the event is until May 13 this year.
The teams can individually count on their sponsors, and must indicate the sponsoring entity to the event organization.
Based on the simulation of an arbitration procedure involving a hypothetical conflict of Intellectual Property rights, the 2nd CSD-ABPI Moot will take place from July 23 to 31 this year. Teams from undergraduate or graduate law teaching institutions can participate; law firms of any Brazilian state, formally constituted before the OAB; and academic/student organizations or associations.
The only one of its kind with an exclusive focus on IP arbitration, the CSD-ABPI Moot was conceived along the lines of renowned tournaments of the genre and will be held again this year due to the resounding success of the first edition in 2021.
Additional information about the Competition can be found on the event’s official website.
