ABPI – Brazilian Association of Intellectual Property promotes, within the scope of its Continuing Education Program, the Data Privacy and Protection 2020 course, webinar that will deal with legal aspects of the data protection area in Brazil and worldwide. Taught by renowned experts in the field – and under the academic coordination of Dr. Dirceu Santa Rosa and Dr. Renata Lisboa – the course will be divided into two modules, of 16 hours each.
The first module, starting on June 16 and ending on July 14, will cover the Concepts and Tools that involve data processing, including special regimes, as well as the rights of data subjects and processing agents. In the second, Protection, Regulation and Compliance issues, such as contracts, governance and data protection policies, will be addressed. At the end of each module, students will participate in a round table.
The classes will be taught by the zoom system, from 5 pm to 7 pm.
