The ABPI (Brazilian Association of Intellectual Property) was chosen to be part of the GIPI (Interministerial Group for Intellectual Property), pursuant to Resolution GIPI/ME of July 1, 2021. The selected institutions will have a mandate of one year from August 1, 2021.

The GIPI Plenary also approved the Action Plan for the implementation and monitoring of the EMPI (National Intellectual Property Strategy) for the biennium from August/2012 to July/2023.

GIPI/ME RESOLUTION No. 1, JULY 1, 2021
*Approves the representative institutions of civil society that will participate in the Group’s meetings
Interministerial for Intellectual Property*

THE PLENARY OF THE INTERMINISTERIAL INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY GROUP – GIPI, in the use of the powers conferred on it by Decree No. 9,931 of July 23, 2019, and in view of the provisions of art. 9, item III, of GIPI Resolution No. 1, of October 22, 2019 (internal regulations), resolves:
Art. 1 Approve the ten representative institutions of civil society
selected under the terms of GIPI Resolution No. 1 of March 2, 2020, as per the attached list, organized in alphabetical order.
Art. 2 The selected representative institutions will have a one-year term as of the effective date of this Resolution.
Art. 3 This Resolution enters into force on August 1, 2021.

GIPI/ME RESOLUTION No. 2, JULY 1, 2021
*Approves the Action Plan 2021-2023 of the National Intellectual Property Strategy*.

THE PLENARY OF THE INTERMINISTERIAL INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY GROUP – GIPI, in the use of the powers conferred on it by Decree No. 9,931 of July 23, 2019, and in view of the provisions of art. 9, item III, of GIPI Resolution No. 1, of October 22, 2019 (internal regulations), resolves:
Art. 1 Approve the Action Plan attached to this Resolution for the implementation and monitoring of the National Intellectual Property Strategy – ENPI for the biennium from August/2021 to July/2023.

Single paragraph. The adjustments to the annex to this Resolution that are necessary as part of the implementation and monitoring process of the Action Plan 2021-2023 will be published directly on the Intellectual Property Portal.

Art. 2 This Resolution enters into force on August 1, 2021.
