The creation of Chambers specialized in Business Law, within the scope of the Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice (TJ-RJ), was the keynote, today, 21, of the meeting of ABPI’s president, Luiz Edgard Montaury Pimenta, with the president of the TJ -RJ, Judge Henrique de Andrade Figueira, and the holder of the 17th Civil Chamber of TJ-RJ, Judge Elton Martinez Carvalho Leme, with the participation of Felipe Dannemann Lundgren, President of the Industrial Property Commission of OAB-RJ. As is already the case in São Paulo, the implementation of the Corporate Chambers, which includes Intellectual Property, is an old ABPI claim and is getting closer and closer to being realized. Andrade Figueira accepted the invitation to participate in the next ABPI International Intellectual Property Congress, from 23 to 26 August, to address the subject that, until then, he believes, will have evolved.
