INPI is modernizing its systems and has just made available a new address for some digital services.
Check below the INPI communiqué and the main links disclosed.
“With the objective of modernizing and increasing the security of the computing environment, in addition to improving the experience of its users, the INPI now makes available the issuance of the Union Collection Guide (GRU), user registration and receipt of receipt at a new address : meu.inpi.gov.br.
To access the GRU issuance, the user must use the address meu.inpi.gov.br/pag. In this link, it will be possible to issue GRUs for trademark processes assigned to Brazil based on International Registrations with alphanumeric identification (whose numbering in the INPI starts with numbers 51 to 59).
The address meu.inpi.gov.br/pag/gru may be used by users who have a tool for the Rest/Post/Json web service, without a human interface, to generate the GRU. The service does not undergo any change.
To access the register and issue a receipt, the address is meu.inpi.gov.br/e-inpi/internetCliente/Principal.jsp.
For now, the addresses gru.inpi.gov.br/pag e gru.inpi.gov.br/e-inpi/internetCliente/Principal.jsp will still be active and will be disabled in due course, with due communication to users.
At the address gru.inpi.gov.br/pag, it will not be possible to issue GRUs for trademark processes assigned to Brazil from International Applications with alphanumeric identification.”
