ABPI is committed to social responsibility and engaged in the Ministry of Health’s effort to avoid unnecessary exposure to COVID-19.
Therefore, concerned with the health of its Congress’ participants and speakers, ABPI has decided to postpone the holding of the 40th edition of its International Congress on Intellectual Property for the last quarter of 2020.
The location will also be changed, and the event will take place in the city of São Paulo, Brazil.
The new date and location will be informed shortly. ABPI is adjusting the calendar according to other Intellectual Property events scheduled for the period.
With this measure, we are looking to avoid numerous travels, which are subject to unnecessary agglomerations and put the health of Congress’ participants, speakers, collaborators and production team at risk.
It is important to inform that the registrations that have already been made are guaranteed for the new date and that the theme “Intellectual Property and the Disruptive Technologies of the New Economy” will remain the focus of plenary sessions and panels.
We take the opportunity to announce that the 41st edition of the event is already scheduled and will be held in August 2021 in the city of Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, Brazil.
