ABPI’s goal is to present tools to help offices thrive and attract customers in uncertain situations. The course is free for ABPI members, but non-members can also participate by paying a registration fee. In view of the economic and structural crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, ABPI is offering its associates the free online course “Strategic Marketing Management: How to sell in law in times of crisis”, which will take place in 4 modules on the 16th, April 23 and 30 and May 7, always from 5 pm to 7 pm. For Erika Diniz, executive director of ABPI, the course is a way of helping the entity’s associates to remain active and organized, adapting to the new reality of “social distance” and virtual meetings. “We are offering this course for free with the aim of helping law firms to find new opportunities and solutions to keep their advocacy active during the pandemic,” says the director, recalling that places are limited. She points out that non-members can also participate by paying a registration fee of R $ 397.00 for the entire course or R $ 200.00 per module.

Organized and taught by lawyer Lisandra Thomé, the course has a workload of 8 hours (4 online classes of 2 hours each) and should help the offices to define which digital marketing strategies will be most effective to achieve their goals, even working From home. “The course also intends to make the lawyer able to understand the pricing process according to the demand and the current moment”, says Lisandra. The course offered by ABPI will have 4 modules: 04/16 – Strategic Management in Advocacy – Rethinking advocacy: the new mindset to identify opportunities and help your (new) clients. This module will teach how to identify new business opportunities in advocacy by analyzing market needs and what services and products can be offered to supply them, as well as discussing the feasibility of ideas and demands. 04/23 – Strategic digital marketing management – Explains how the customer attraction funnel works and what digital legal marketing strategies should be used to create authority, attract ideal clients and sell services without leaving your home. 04/30 – Sales management in the legal profession – The objective here is to show you how to close new deals and stay in the market even with a lawyer from home. 05/07 – Price management in times of crisis – Introductory module to the fee pricing process and how to adapt it to the current moment so that lawyers reach their corporate goals.
