The ABPI Repression on Infractions Committee aims to discuss issues related to the exercise of the right that the intellectual property holder has within the administrative sphere, in the judicial area as well as before the police authorities and customs.
The themes interrelated to the Commission reflect the array of paths related to the right holder for an effective protection of its intellectual property assets by combating piracy in Brazilian ports, illicit Internet use, and other issues intended to study repairing cases of IP violations.
In addition to the discussions and studies on relevant topics, the Commission also aims to formulate proposals to increase the Intellectual Property Protection System in Brazil.
