Applications for the “WIPO Summer School – Intellectual Property and Health” are now open. The course will be online and runs from February 7th to 18th. Classes take place from 9 am to 12 pm. ABPI members and students have a 50% discount on registration.
Organized by WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization), in cooperation with ABPI and INPI (National Institute of Industrial Property), the objective of the course is to provide lawyers and professionals in the health sector with data on the pharmaceutical patent market in Brazil and in the world, in addition to debating highly relevant topics such as, for example, Regulatory Measures for Medicines Prices in Brazil, Protection of vaccines, biodiversity, among others.
The academic coordination of the course is the Federal Judge at the TRF of the 2nd Region Caroline Tauk.
Enrollment for this course will take place in two stages.
After your registration with the ABPI, you will receive a link to complete your registration on the WIPO website, as participation is subject to final approval by WIPO. This phase is essential for completing the registration and obtaining the certificate.
