ABPI regularly conducts studies and publishes scientific papers aiming to promote and better the Intellectual Property system. For example, in 2014 and 2019, Economic Studies were published by renowned economists, highlighting the importance of Intellectual Property for the Brazilian and global economies. Alongside the economic studies, ABPI also prepared technical studies, which were handed to the competing candidates for Presidency in Brazil. These included “Proposals for Innovation and Intellectual Property” aiming to improve the National Intellectual Property system.
