Space patents

The BPTO (Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office) and the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB) are surveying to identify technologies from Brazilian or international institutions that have filed patents in the space sector in Brazil and abroad.

This initiative will contribute to the MapTec Project, which aims to map and evaluate Brazilian space technologies. The partnership between the BPTO and AEB started last year, and this year a detailed report will be issued on its main findings and conclusions.
