Registrations open for CEDUC/ABPI courses
ABPI’s CEDUC (Continuing Education Center) has now opened registrations for two new online courses, with a special discount for ABPI members: one in the art market field and the other on data protection. And it also offers three free courses: legal marketing, the other on leadership and people management, and the other on Racial Diversity in corporations.
The course on Art Law, organized by the Industrial Design Study Committee of ABPI, is a joint realization between ABPI and WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization). It will be taught by Professor Marcílio Toscana Franca Filho, WIPO arbitrator, and a professor of Art Law at the Faculty of Law of the Federal University of Paraíba. With classes on April 5th, 7th, 9th, and 16th, from 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. (BRT), it will address, among others, aspects related to the legal framework of the art market.
The course on Privacy and Data Protection, organized by ABPI’s Software, Technology, and Data Protection Study Committee, is coordinated by Pedro Vilhena, a lawyer specialized in Brands and Data Protection, and Renata Lisboa, the coordinator of CEDUC. The course has a workload of 40 class hours and will be held from April 6th to June 22nd, always on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (BRT).
The two free courses, which will be taught by lawyer and coach Lisandra Thomé, take place from 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. (BRT). The “Legal Marketing: Brand Positioning” course will be held on April 12th, 14th, 19th, and 28th, and the “Leadership and People Management” course, on June 7th, 9th, 14th, and 16th.
The course “The Management of Racial Diversity and the New Corporate Responsibility” will be held on May 5th, 11th, 12th, 19th, and 26th, and June 2nd, led by Renato Ferreira, a lawyer, professor, and expert in Race Relations, Human Rights and Management for the Diversity.
