ABPI has signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Brazilian Advertisers Association (ABA) to develop activities of mutual interest jointly. The agreement offers mutual benefits, such as discounts on ABA membership fees and temporary waivers of ABPI membership fees. The partnership was proposed by ABPI’s Advertising Law Study Committee, which will act as the liaison between the two organizations.
The agreement also outlines the exchange of academic and scientific information and studies, as well as the mutual promotion of events organized by both parties. Furthermore, it allows ABPI to create a training agenda through its Legal Committee, covering topics of interest such as ambush marketing and advertising law. Additionally, ABPI will hold in-person events on topics of mutual interest to be defined by both associations.
ABA is a national private civil association, non-economic and non-profit, with activities conducted in compliance with Brazilian competition law (Law No. 12,529/11) and other relevant legislation, including Laws No. 8,137/90, 9,276/96, and 12,846/13.
