In late February, Yuta Yasuda, the new director of Intellectual Property at JETRO – Japan External Trade Organization, visited the ABPI headquarters in Rio, where he was welcomed by ABPI Reporter General Rodrigo Affonso de Ouro Preto Santos and Executive Director Erika Diniz.
JETRO has been fostering trade and investment between Brazilian and Japanese companies for over 60 years. Its mission includes attracting Brazilian investments to Japan, providing information to Japanese companies interested in the Brazilian market, and promoting the dissemination of intellectual property among Brazilian and Japanese entrepreneurs. To achieve these goals, JETRO São Paulo’s Intellectual Property Department carries out various activities.
