Event Highlights How to Facilitate Negotiations and Prevent Disputes

On April 28, the Mediation Chamber (CMed-ABPI) of ABPI’s Dispute Resolution Center (CSD-ABPI) will host the event:

“Mediation Beyond Existing Conflicts: Facilitating Negotiations and Preventing Disputes.”

The session will feature Fernanda Guerra, attorney and founder of SER – Sustaining Real Connections and Casa 20, and Sandra Brandão, attorney and member of the Legal Studies Committee of ABF (Brazilian Franchising Association).

The goal of the event—which will be held in a hybrid format and is free of charge for ABPI members—is to explore the use of mediation not only for resolving disputes but also as a tool to assist in negotiating contracts, drafting documents, and aligning positions, even in the absence of existing conflict.

“We will present the development of an instrument designed to support legal relationships and address divergent opinions and interpretations in a restorative manner,” explains Karin Klempp Franco, Director of CMed-ABPI. She will moderate the session alongside Marcos Chucralla Moherdaui Blasi, Deputy Director of CMed-ABPI.
