Economist Eduardo Loyo at the opening of ABPI’s Congress
The chief economist of Banco BTG Pactual, Eduardo Loyo, has been confirmed as the speaker of the opening lecture of ABPI’s 40th International Congress on Intellectual Property, which will take place from 19th to 22nd October this year. The former executive director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and director of Special Studies at the Central Bank of Brazil, Loyo was also a professor at the Kennedy School of Government (Harvard) and the Department of Economics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC- RJ).
For the first time being held in virtual mode, ABPI’s 40th Congress will have as its anchor theme “Intellectual Property and Disruptive Technologies of the New Economy”.
