On April 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the event Cloud Licensing and Software Dispute Resolution will take place. Organized by the CSD-ABPI in partnership with the Permanent Commission for Studies on Intellectual Property Law of the IASP – Institute of Lawyers of São Paulo, the event will be held in a hybrid format, with both online streaming and an in-person session at ABPI’s headquarters in São Paulo.
The opening lecture will be delivered by Manoel Joaquim Pereira dos Santos, President of CSD-ABPI, who will address the benefits of alternative dispute resolution methods for conflicts in the technology sector—particularly in software—as well as the evolution of litigation since the emergence of software legislation.
Following the opening, guest speakers Walter Neto, Senior Legal Director of Litigation (LATAM) at Oracle Corporation, and Larissa Hamaji, Senior Legal Counsel of Litigation (LATAM) at Oracle Corporation, will share their insights. Oracle Corporation is one of the world’s largest and most influential technology companies, globally recognized as a leader in database, cloud, and enterprise software solutions.
The session will be moderated by Flávia Murad, President of the Intellectual Property Commission of IASP, and Ana Carolina Nogueira, Vice President of the same commission.
