A crowded room and intense debates marked, on November 5th, at the Ayrton Senna Institute, in São Paulo, “The 20 years of UDRP – Extrajudicial Solution of Domain Name Disputes”. At the event organized by CSD-ABPI – ABPI’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Center in conjunction with the CBAr (Brazilian Arbitration Committee) Intellectual Property, Arbitration and Mediation Study Group, Registro.br legal advisor Kelly Angelini said that in January/2020 there will be a public consultation for the review and improvement of the SACI-Adm.
The event was attended by Manoel J. Pereira dos Santos, President of CSD-ABPI, Wilson Pinheiro Jabur, Deputy Director of the Dispute Resolution Domain Name Chamber (CASD-ND) and Rodrigo Azevedo, Deputy Director of the Mediation Chamber (CMED-ABPI). ABPI’s vice-president Gabriel Leonardos, who at the request of Nic.br contributed to the preparation of SACI-Adm, also attended the event.
