April 26th is World Intellectual Property Day. And to mark this date, ABPI organized a series of actions in partnership with WIPO – World Intellectual Property Organization and the BPTO – Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office. Besides an inaugural celebration on the 26th, a series of webinars, podcasts, and one competition in partnership with the National Faculty of Law are planned.
On April 26th, International IP Day starts at 4:30 pm (BRT). The event will be free and held online and will address the theme IP AND YOUTH: INNOVATING FOR A BETTER FUTURE, adopted worldwide by WIPO to mark the date.
In Brazil, ABPI will discuss the theme, and receive representatives from various government entities and bodies at the opening table, including the BPTO and WIPO.
The celebrations continue over the next three days featuring webinars held at 10:30 am (BRT).
On April 27th, the following topic will be discussed: Entrepreneurship, IP, and NFTs. On the 28th, the conversation will be about: Entrepreneurship, IP, and Content Producers. And on the 29th, the theme will address Entrepreneurship, IP, and S&T.
ABPI followers will also find out about the topics covered in podcasts to be published in the weeks following the event.
To close the celebrations there will be a competition held in partnership with the National Faculty of Law.
