BPTO launches IP showcase

On September 15^th the BPTO launched the “IP Showcase” (Ordinance No. 331/2020), an international digital platform for the purchase, sale, and licensing of industrial property rights. Known as “IP Marketplace”, the platform will make it possible to sell patent applications or granted patents, as of October 1^st.

With the IP Showcase, those interested in new technological solutions presented by developers will be able to identify those that are available for sale.
