ABPI – the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association promotes, within the scope of its Continuing Education Program, the Privacy and Data Protection 2020 course, an online course that will deal with legal aspects of the data protection area in Brazil and worldwide. Taught by renowned experts in the field – and under the academic coordination of Mr. Dirceu Santa Rosa and Ms. Renata Lisboa – the course will be divided into two modules, each one with a total of 16 hours.
The first module, starting on June 16th and ending on July 14th will cover the Concepts and Tools that involve data processing, including special regimes, as well as the rights of data subjects and processing agents. In the second module, Protection, Regulation and Compliance issues, such as contracts, governance, and data protection policies, will be addressed. At the end of each module, students will participate in a round-table discussion.
Classes will be taught by Zoom, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
