ABPI attended the INTA – International Trademark Association 2019 Annual Congress, May 18-21, in Boston, United States. The meeting is the world’s greatest trademarks event, with more than 11,000 participants. The Brazilian delegation, led by ABPI’s president Luiz Edgard Montaury Pimenta announced ABPI’s XXXIX International Congress on Intellectual Property, to be held from August 25 to 27, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The association’s booth at the event was visited by participants from several countries, including the Vice-President of the China Trademark Association (CTA), Yonggang Yang, welcomed by ABPI’s executive manager Erika Diniz (photo).
Among the agreements already signed by ABPI with CTA is the attendance of a delegation from China at ABPI’s Congress in August. At the occasion, Deputy Director General of CTA Ping Nan will participate in panel 10: ” Intellectual Property Litigation Abroad: Tips for Successful Strategies”.
