The importance of Latin America in the business landscape can be seen in the general session on “Expansion into Latin America: Navigating Risk, Unlocking Value, and Protecting Intangibles,” at the INTA Annual Meeting, which will take place from May 2 to 6, 2026, in London. Moderated by ABPI Executive Director Erika Silla, the session, on May 5, will feature presentations by Paula Fernandez Pfizenmaier, from Mercado Livre (Argentina); Roxana Segura, from Adidas (Chile); and Victoria Fernandes, from Alpargatas (Brazil).
The session will address how companies can successfully enter and scale operations in the region, focusing on risk management, Intellectual Property, and value creation. Combining high-growth opportunities with regulatory complexity, enforcement challenges, and constantly evolving market dynamics, Latin America indeed presents a dynamic environment for business expansion.
