On June 19th, the Secretary-Director of ABPI, Maria Inez Abreu, and the Coordinator of the International Intellectual Property Law Committee of the organization, Márcio Merkl, visited the headquarters of AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property) in Zurich, Switzerland. They delivered the Economic Study “Intellectual Property and Development in Brazil” to the organization’s management. The study was commissioned by ABPI and conducted by a team of economists led by Antonio Antônio Márcio Buainain (UNICAMP) and Roney Fragas (UFMT).
