On May 18th, ABPI signed a cooperation agreement with the Global Intellectual Property Alliance (GLIPA). The signing took place during the INTA Annual Meeting Live+ in Singapore. The agreement aims to jointly promote the topic of Intellectual Property worldwide through activities such as seminars, webinars, and intellectual property events.
The cooperation agreement was signed by Luiz Edgard Montaury Pimenta, honorary member and former president of ABPI, and Maria Fernanda Hurtado, Executive Director of Global Alliances at GLIPA. Also present at the ceremony were Martin Correa Finsterbusch, Senior Counsellor for the Future of Intellectual Property at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and Erika Diniz Silla, Executive Director of ABPI.
GLIPA, a non-profit organization established in October 2022, aims to build a world where Intellectual Property empowers all individuals to enhance their lives and create a more prosperous and sustainable future through awareness, education, collaboration, and inclusion.
