The preparations for the 3rd CSD-ABPI Moot are underway, and the case discussed during the event has been announced. The deadline for clarification requests is June 9, 2023.
The fictitious case revolves around a request for an arbitration procedure to resolve a conflict over an invention created by artificial intelligence. The Organizing Committee chose this timely and topical issue because it presents current challenges at the intersection of law and technology. “As artificial intelligence continues to revolutionize content development, there are several particularities involving intellectual property that need to be discussed. We anticipate an increase in the demand for arbitration procedures involving AI, and consider it extremely important that everyone is prepared,” said Manoel J. Pereira dos Santos, President of the CSD-ABPI.
