The 43rd ABPI International Congress celebrates the entity’s 60th anniversary
Preparations are advanced for ABPI’s 43rd International Congress on Intellectual Property, which this year will celebrate the entity’s 60th anniversary. The event will take place from August 20th to 22nd and will have as its anchor theme “Intellectual Property as a Promoter of Social Equality.” The city of Rio de Janeiro will host this edition of the largest and most important Congress on Intellectual Property in Latin America.
An outstanding program is being prepared, with plenary sessions, panels, and table topics on current issues led by experts in different subjects.
The event will take place in the comfort of the Windsor Barra Hotel and begin on Sunday, August 20th, at 5:30 pm, with the opening ceremony and keynote speaker Crystal Washington’s presence. As a technology strategist and certified futurist, Crystal takes complex social media, app, and web topics and makes them easy to understand and accessible to everyday people. Crystal is a Forbes Top 50 Female Futurist and author of One Tech Action and The Social Media Why.
ABPI’s 43rd International Congress will have breaks between the presentations, such as coffee and lunch breaks, for participants to interact and network. There will also be space for booths from partner companies within the event Thus, everyone can take the opportunity to meet and engage with professionals, companies, and exhibiting institutions.
