Leonor Magalhães Galvão, a member of ABPI, has been appointed as the new co-rapporteur for the Brazilian National Group of AIPPI (Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle). She will be replacing Rafael Atab, who has recently taken up the position of Assistant Reporter General for the organization. Marcos Blasi, who has been serving as co-rapporteur and also as the ABPI sectional representative in São Paulo since January 2021, will continue in his current role.
The Brazilian group’s rapporteurship, established in 2021 to enhance communication and facilitate coordination between ABPI and AIPPI, has received frequent accolades from the AIPPI management for its outstanding performance and the excellent quality of its reports. Leonor was part of the group of Brazilian delegates at the last AIPPI meetings and presently heads the Green Technologies Committee of this esteemed international institution.
