ABPI IN 2022
ABPI entered 2022 with public positions in defense of the patent legislation and the financial autonomy of the BPTO through Public Hearings, newspaper articles, and open letters.
Throughout the year, notwithstanding recurrences of the pandemic, it worked with the GIPI (Interministerial Group on Intellectual Property) and established partnerships with similar institutions or not, besides promoting national and international webinars, courses, lunch lectures, and other in-person events.
At its annual Congress, held in a hybrid format, it had 755 registered participants, almost a hundred of whom were foreigners.
Lastly, the association celebrated the end of the year with the traditional get-together with its friends and members, this time in a casual happy hour.
