ABPI’s Dispute Resolution Center — CSD-ABPI — will hold the second edition of the CSD-ABPI Moot on July 23 – 31, its intellectual property arbitration competition, which was a success last year.
The only one of its kind with an exclusive focus on IP arbitration, the CSD-ABPI Moot was conceived along the lines of renowned tournaments of the genre and aims to encourage arbitration use in Intellectual Property.
The first edition of the event comprised 14 teams registered, representing renowned universities and law firms, totaling 116 members and advisors. The panels simulated an arbitration hearing, with a fictitious case created by the Organizing Committee as its object, involving several current and relevant aspects and issues related to Intellectual Property.
To support and facilitate this year’s event, the CSD-ABPI Moot will be sponsored by educational institutions, law firms, academic/student organizations or associations, and other entities.
