Brazilians among influential IP women in the world
Four Brazilians are among the 100 most influential women in Intellectual Property in the world in 2020, according to the prestigious British Magazine World IP Review, which deals with industry news and analysis. The publication’s select list includes Liane Lage, the Director of Patents at the BPTO – Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office, and lawyers Joana de Matos Siqueira, from Montaury Pimenta, Machado & Vieira de Mello; Barbara Angela Leitão, from Di Blasi, Parente & Associados; and Luiza Tangari Coelho, of Fialho Salles Advogados.
This is the second year that the publication has made a special edition entitled Influential Women in IP, highlighting, this time, the work done by women in the IP sector amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
ABPI joins the tributes to Liane, Joana, Bárbara, and Luiza, congratulating them on the relevant services provided to the Brazilian intellectual property system.
